Another familiar face? You may be confused. "Why would Castl E. Bass join the Exterminals? He loves the Spectrals!" you may be saying, and you would be correct. However, this isn't the Castl E. Bass you remember, or, more importantly, what he remembers... You see, as you may be able to tell, its not exactly clear that Castle E. Bass is alive and sentient. So, when Peeyache found Castl E. Bass on his way home from a birthday party, he assumed that he was just a rock formation of some kind and, against the futile protests of Castl E. Bass, used the electricity + serum method on him. What does the method do to a being who is already sentient? Well, it horribly mutated him. Many deep cracks and new crystals grew out of him, the serum trying to transform him into something resembling life. His crystals began to ooze a thick sludge, filling his now hollow body cavity. Castl E. Basic felt all of this. His immune system also began to fail, the harmless mushrooms and plants growing from him being replaced by vines, mold, ferns, and parasitic plants thought to be extinct long ago burrowing into his body. As for his sanity, whats left of it is horribly twisted. Castl E. Basic can barely tell whats real and what isn't, and, now having privative eyes, everything he sees is very distorted and scary. He is very confused. He was coerced into join the Exterminals so they could use his incredible strength (despite the procedure making him quite fragile, meaning he was only really good for ONE feat of strength), even though Castl E. Bass would know better. But Castl E. Bass is gone. Castl E. Basic is all that remains.
