A familiar face? Sclepter has had quite the odd life, all 3 months of it. Their birth came out of an incident where, while visiting with his close friend and business associate Poultergates, Whimslow accidentally got some of the serum Seelsteal created onto Gates' prized scepter. Now, Poultergates will insist the scepter's brilliant swirling patterns are magical in nature, but, in reality, it's just battery powered. Thus, the serum + the current created by the batteries brought the scepter to life. Sclepter, confused and scared, crawled off with its new legs and out of Brass Barracks where Whimslow resides. Sclepter didn't quite know what to do with its newly gained sentience. For a little bit, they worked as a mop at a local fast food restaurant, but quit after not being payed and being treated terribly by the employees. Granted, they didn't know it was sentient and that it was scared of water, but still. After this short-lived career, they crawled off and found themselves in Gangrene Graveyard. Agreeing that the Spectrals deserved to die, Sclepter offered to use its stronger-than-steel webs to help the Exterminals build.....well..I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. Peeyache and Zlumburr were delighted to have him on the team. Sclepter was significantly less delighted when they found out they were not going to be paid for their work and that they were treated about the same if not worse than the employee's of Wokstache's Wok Wok Gulp-N-Schlurp Diner. Poultergates was furious about losing his scepter. He put posters all across Spectralvania in an effort to get it back. He eventually got a phone call from a strange man, who was creepily giggling the whole time, saying he had the scepter, but that Poultergates needed to send Glimmini, a friend of his daughter's, to retrieve it. He thought it was a strange request, but he would do anything for his scepter back, so he agreed. Glimmini hasn't come back for 3 days, but I'm sure it's nothing.
