• Once upon a time, hundreds of years ago, a cool snail became victim to a certain giant rock monster in a deep and winding cavern. The result was Snalagool, a monster who is still deeply scarred by its time in the cave. It fused with the rocks and vents of the cave and grew a hard rocky shell and eye vents to blow air out of to create its deep bass. They are friendly, just make sure you don't mention the whole cave thing.
• "What’s the deal with seafood buffets?" If your feeling down on yourself, Glockopod has got the joke for you. An aspiring stand up comedian, Glockopod loves nothing more than to cheer up his fellow Spectrals with a good laugh. The quality of his humor is to be debated, but the Spectrals usually go along with it, even if his jokes aren’t Knee-slappers.
• Who doesn’t love TWO comedians? Cauwbelsa and her "best friend" Glockopod both love to make people laugh, so why not do it together? She has noticed that he acts a bit strange around her, but she doesn't worry! Her friend is probably just nervous that there are so many customers at their new job at the local Pizzeria they work at! Right?
• Cadavox is the tallest of all the Spectrals, and it's easy to see why, his long extendable neck is useful for reaching high places. Now, some spectrals will tell you that muzzle on his face is because "The mask connected to its brain and pumped chemicals into it, suppressing its demented thoughts and allowed only thoughts of happiness and caring", but that's just plain untrue, the true reason is uhh, well...
• Molterhoo is made of boiling molten brass, so she's naturally burning hot, that doesn't mean she's not nice though! She often helps her boyfriend, Wokstache, cook by putting the food inside her boiling hot body, heating the food in a matter of minutes!
• Y'all about style! Being trapped in a cavern all your life can get a bit boring, so why not spice it up with jewelry! Jewelreef collects what she finds in the cavern and makes some fashionable clothes. When she runs out of jewelry, she uses her siren songs to lure people into the cavern and find some more.
• Hey, sometimes it’s just not meant to be. Just look at Snapptrapp. Him and his small upper head used to be husband and wife, who grew to hate each other and ended up trying to kill each other. They both died in the process and ended up stuck to each other for all eternity.
• Jelliton has a huge emotional attachment to their rock, so much that it's pretty much the only thing they care about. A certain upside-down faced adventurer has a big crush on them, but due to their attachment, they always ignore him, much to his annoyance.
• Talk about a blast to the past! Grayskare was originally 3 spirits who robbed banks and stores in the old west, building up a large fortune. This all came crashing down on them when a giant piano, well, came crashing down on them! Being outlaws for so long gave them lots of time to find hiding spots all around the spectral world, so they know lots of good hiding places.
• Mamma Mia! If the Spectrals ever get hungry, chances are that Wokstache is already whipping something up for them. He uses his large, wok- like body to cook some absolutely delicious treats, and even makes some music when gases escape from the lid. He can get a little carried away, however, like the time he baked so many pizzas he got stuck on top of a mountain of them. We don’t talk about that day.
